This is handmade wooden octabonal shaped trinket box made with mother of pearl inlaid in oriental motif, butterflies and flowers, followed by lacquer work. Natural shimmering mother of pearl cut into shape and inlaid by manual work pieces by pieces to create distinctive artwork.

Mother of pearl inlaid inside of the box as well as outside. Lift up lid. In oriental theory, octagon is the most desirable and steady shape.
